Carrollton Police arrested a 17-year-old who led officers on a chase through 10 North Texas cities this afternoon.
Police tried to pull over Giovanni Hernandez because the car he was driving had been used in a recent drive-by. In that shooting, a house was damaged, but nobody was hurt.
Police say Hernandez didn't stop for the officer this afternoon and drove thru Carrollton, The Colony, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, and Farmers Branch before he returned to Carrollton.
45 minutes after the chase started, officers boxed him in and he surrendered.
Police also arrested his 16-year-old passenger.
Nearby RL Turner High School and Central Elementary were both briefly locked down as a precaution.
