UPDATE: The identity of the woman is released, as well as her charges.
Her name is Wei Fen Ong. She is charged with a count of Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. Ong will be transferred to the Denton County Detention Center.
Police reports say a car wound up in water over its top near Hebron Parkway and Railroad Street in Lewisville and all had to be pulled out.
This all started in Carrollton when a man called the police to say he had been stabbed by his wife. By the time officers arrived a the home, the wife had driven away with the couple's three kids.
A short time later Carrollton officer Igamar Ligizano says Lewisville police got a call about the car in the water in the 900 block of Hebron Parkway.
Police and ambulances arrived and immediately went into action. Two of the children had to be revived, one at the scene and the other in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. That child is in critical condition. The children were ages 8, 9, and 12.
Police say the man will survive his wounds and Ong is being transferred to a detention center.
At this point, police are not saying how the car wound up in the pond, but police say it does not appear she was being chased.
