The city of Carrollton’s storm drain art contest is your chance to paint an original design on a storm drain inlet in downtown Carrollton.
Applications are now open to submit your designs that fit themes of preventing stormwater pollution, maintaining safe drinking water sources or water conservation, and protecting natural habitats.
Submissions are open to all Carrollton residents and organizations, as well as those in the immediate DFW area. The artwork must be original and appropriate for all ages.
7 winning artists will be selected for an installation in March 2024.
Winning artists will have their biography featured on the City website and they will also be able to sign their artwork. The deadline to submit is next Monday, January 15th. For more information and to apply, visit the city of Carrollton website.
