Police say a child who was reported missing out of San Antonio where the Bexar County Sheriff's Office had activated an Amber Alert is safe and reunited with her family.
Police were asking for the public's help in finding a six-year-old girl named Kennedy Harrington who was last seen a little before 8 a.m. Wednesday in San Antonio.
Deandre Harrington, the man police believed had taken Kennedy with him dropped off the child with her family and left the residence before deputies were called, Bexar County Sheriff's office reported on Facebook.
Police described her as Black, standing three feet six inches and weighing about 60 pounds.
Deputies said she was taken by a man named Deandre Harrington who is also Black. He's about five-foot-nine and weighs about 209 pounds. He's believed to be driving a gray Chevy car -- maybe an Impala or a Malibu. But they're not saying anything about the model or the license number.
