DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Dallas police say a three year old girl was shot outside a gas station in East Oak Cliff Monday night. They say people in two cars started arguing outside the Shell Station at 3915 Linfield Road, near I-45 and Illinois Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday.
Police say the girl was sitting in a pick-up truck. They say the driver of the pick-up truck and driver of the other car started shooting at each other.
"A three year old little girl was struck by gunfire," says Dallas Police Sgt. Tramese Jones. "She was transported to Children's Hospital by [Dallas Fire Rescue]."
Jones says the girl was in critical condition.
Police say the driver of the pick-up truck stayed and answered questions. They say the driver of the other car drove off.
After looking at surveillance tape, police said they were looking for a silver Nissan Armada. Police say a Latin man fired "multiple shots" into the pick-up truck, hitting the girl.
