Discussions are heating up at Dallas City Hall about the next city manager.
There are two meetings scheduled Monday on the subject of the next City Manager in Dallas. TC Broadnax resigned earlier this year and then hired an outside search firm to recruit candidates. That firm gave city council members a short list of four finalists to consider - but some council members say that list is too short and they want more options.
One group of council members is pushing to move ahead with the process. They scheduled a meeting this morning to discuss the candidates and possibly name a finalist.
There's a separate committee meeting scheduled for this afternoon to debate the qualifications of the candidates and recommend some finalists as well.
