Three more North Texas school districts open their schools today, ready for a hot start to the 2023-24 school year.
Triple digit temperatures are expected in Garland, Godley and Corsicana where students are reporting for their first day of class this morning.
On Monday, the Mesquite district was the first in Dallas-Fort Worth to open with more than 38,000 students waking up early to return to class.
By the end of the week schools will be open in more than 40 North Texas districts.
