Two Cleburne firefighters are among seven people hurt when an ambulance crashed in Fort Worth yesterday.

Just past 3 p.m. the ambulance was transporting a patient when it became involved in a chain-reaction crash on the Chisolm Trail Parkway near Overton Ridge Parkway in southwest Fort Worth. The impact separated the box from the ambulance's chassis, leaving the box tipped on its side.
MedStar used another ambulance to complete the transfer of the patient who apparently did not receive any injuries from the crashes.
The two firefighters were taken to the hospital to get checked out. The others who were hurt were also treated but none of the injuries seemed to be serious.
