The Cleburne woman killed in a Johnson County crash this week has now been identified.
Officials say the victim, now identified as Brenda Vargas, died Monday when her car crashed less than a half-mile from her home on Conveyor Drive near I-35.
Police found Vargas dead at the scene from what the Medical Examiner calls blunt force injuries.
Cleburne police have not said what caused the crash. Vargas' mother had died from natural causes just two days earlier.
