A convicted child molester is going to prison for decades on charges of Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Contact.
The Collin County District Attorney says Patrick Travis had ongoing access to the child victim. He was convicted of sexually abusing that child multiple times starting when she was just 13.
At his sentencing, prosecutors presented evidence that during the investigation Travis himself admitted to molesting numerous girls from the ages of 13 to 16.
The judge ordered Travis to prison for 40 years.
