A proposed development in Dallas' Preston Hollow neighborhood is getting some heavy pushback from neighbors.
A developer wants a 21-story luxury apartment building in an area along with other high-rises.
Doug Hazelbaker is on the steering committee for Preserve Preston Hollow and has been in several meetings wanting to better understand the proposal.
"We have a better handle on that now and it's important that we educate the neighbors on what we've heard and what we've seen going on out there," Hazelbaker said. "That's the whole point of the meeting."
They will host a community-wide meeting Tuesday night.
The committee has already obtained 2,300 signatures in opposition to the proposal considering the current zoning height limit is 54 feet.
Hazelbaker said the opposition is strictly to the height. They are in favor of development.
