This is the first week that COVID-19 booster shots are available to more people.
The CDC has given the green light for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shots. The CDC has also approved mixing and matching brands.
Parkland Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joseph Chang says if you have the single shot of J&J or the two shots of Moderna or Pfizer you are still considered fully vaccinated.
He says if you are 18 and older you can get a J&J booster.
Dr. Chang says just remember to follow the recommended CDC gap between your last shot and your booster.
