We have more information about some accidents Monday evening near the town of Cresson, close to the Johnson and Tarrant county line.

Cresson firefighters had to respond to three accident scenes in the space of an hour, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

One was near the Cresson Sonic on Highway 377, another one was on 377 near Kelly Road, and the third was in Whiskey Flats on 377 near Crowley-Plover Road.

There were several injuries and one victim had to be flown to a Fort Worth hospital.

Monday was the first weekday after the time change causing sunset to come around 5:30 p.m. so the time of those crashes happened about an hour after it became dark.

Some social media users are speculating that may have had something to do with the rash of crashes but investigators are saying anything about that.
