Frisco officials removed a number of coyotes in a neighborhood where a little girl was attacked earlier this week.

Frisco Animal Services Officers teamed by the Department of Agriculture and Texas Wildlife Service Program to find and get rid of the wild animals in the Lexington Park Community.

An 8-year-old girl was out with her mother Monday afternoon near Lacy Lane and Tall Timbers Trail when she was attacked by a coyote.

The girl was hurt with scratches and a bite but she does not have life-threatening injuries.
