FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- Great news from the Fort Worth fire department about one of their own.
Fire Captain Daniel Terrell has been released from the hospital -- 16 days after that awful fire engine rollover accident.
You may remember Captain Terrell and three other firefighters were headed to a house fire when the accident happened. Two firefighters were treated and released that day. Firefighter Clint Robinson had surgery and has to do rehab for several months.
Captain Terrell was in pretty bad shape, he was in the ICU for a while with some pretty serious injuries. He will now spend the next couple of weeks in rehab and then will have a long healing process ahead of him.
But the fire department says -- his spirits are high! The family released a statement thanking the community as well as JPS hospital.
