A custodian at Gainesville Junior High is facing a charge of indecency with a child after allegedly touching a student inappropriately.
Police say 62-year-old Hervey Nava was arrested at his Gainesville home Friday morning and booked into the Cooke County Jail.
Investigators say the case began earlier this month after a 13-year-old student reported that Nava hugged her and touched her inappropriately in a classroom.
Police say the student immediately reported the incident to another school employee.
