There's a huge, smoky mess to clean up in northeast Dallas where a three-story apartment building has been gutted by a four-alarm fire overnight.
Just before 1 a.m. flames erupted from the roof of a building on Walnut Street just a couple of blocks east of the Dallas College Richland Campus.
The fire was quickly racing through the top floor of the building and commanders almost immediately added a second alarm followed by a third and a fourth all within the first hour.
It was a very stubborn fire and did heavy damage. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
