There was a two-alarm fire at a Dallas apartment complex in the 5900 block of Mendocino Drive early this morning.
When firefighters arrived they were greeted by flames coming from the patio on the first floor of a two-story apartment building. Fire crews quickly moved to extinguish the fire.
One resident was taken to the hospital for evaluation of their injuries. All other residents were able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
