Dallas-based Cooper Aerobics is the latest Texas company to be hacked and it's impacting nearly 90,000 clients.

In a notice filed last week with the Texas Attorney General’s office, Cooper says the breach happened nearly a year ago, last February 3rd but was not discovered until December 8, 2023.

Reports say that personal, medical, and financial information was breached, but Cooper says it's not aware of any cases of identity theft or financial fraud connected to the breach.

The company says they are working to fix the problem and are offering free credit monitoring services to people who were impacted.

In a press release on the company's website, the company says "Cooper Aerobics remains fully committed to maintaining the privacy of personal and protected health information in its possession and has taken many precautions to safeguard it, including continually evaluating and modifying its practices and internal controls. For further questions about this incident, or to determine if affected, individuals may contact the dedicated response line at 1-833-956-1125 (toll free), available Monday through Friday from 8 am – 8 pm Eastern time,"
