Southwest Airlines flew 5-year-old Ezekiel Burnett and his parents from Dallas to Milwaukee Mitchell International on Tuesday to be reunited with his little friend.

Over Thanksgiving, the family was returning to Dallas and Ezekiel was tossing his bear high into the air when it got caught in the rafters at their gate.

With their plane boarding, there was nothing his parents could do and the bear was left behind.

His dad said Ezekiel cried all the way home. But on Jan. 4, the stuffed animal came tumbling down, but no one at the Milwaukee airport knew who had lost him.

Using social media, Mitchell International put out the word in multiple posts, and eventually, Ezekiel's mom and dad learned the teddy bear had been found. The boy and bear were reunited at the airport Tuesday.
