A Dallas city councilman is firing back against a warning from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who ordered the city to reverse the State Fair's no-guns-allowed policy.

During their meeting, Councilman Adam Bazaldua discussed the situation. He says the fairgrounds lie within his district and the shooting there last year, which left three people injured, has been on his mind.

Paxton's directive Wednesday gives the City of Dallas two weeks to rescind the no-guns-allowed policy before he threatens to file suit.

Licensed and retired police officers may still carry within the State Fairgrounds.
