DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Looks like Dallas' embattled city manager will keep his job.

On June 12, the mayor and city council called for a special meeting to discuss the job performance of city manager TC Broadnax. The council was upset with Broadnax citing the fact that it is taking months for the city to issue residential and construction building permits, and poor policies and oversight in the city’s information technology system, led to the deletion of thousands of police files.

But Tuesday mayor Eric Johnson says he and Broadnax have come to an agreement about what he expects from the city manager going forward.

Broadnax has admitted that he and his office can do better and is up to the challenge.
