Dallas County voters need to check their mail box.
Dallas County election officials are sending out mailers, putting notices on social media, and sending e-mail alerts to registered voters.
The message is to let voters know that if they choose to vote on Election Day, March 3rd, they must do so at their assigned precinct.
Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins explained earlier this week that the republican party wanting a separate primary, state law requires Election Day voting to be done within a voter's assigned precinct.
The County is strongly encouraging voters to vote during Early Voting which is underway through February 27th.
That rule will not apply and voters can vote at any Early Voting location throughout the county.
