Offering lots of incentives, Dallas County is working hard to find more than one thousand poll workers before the midterm elections.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins asked the Elections Administrator if they would be able to fill those jobs before election day November 8th.
The County has increased pay for training and set-up time and they're working with the two big political parties to recruit new workers.
Dallas County Elections Administrator Michael Scarpello said they're offering better pay and other perks to make the gig more attractive.
