Officias say the money will come from federal aid.


Dallas County Commissioners have hired Colorado-based American Medical Response Ambulance Service to take over, and the company could be running the mega vaccine site at Fair Park as early as next week.

County leaders continue to urge people to get vaccinated, insisting it's the only way to reach herd immunity.

On Tuesday, Dallas County reported 282 new positive coronavirus cases and 13 deaths. The latest of the victims includes a 19 year old man.

Tarrant County confirmed 192 new cases and 3 deaths yesterday.

Hospitalization rates in the DFW area remain low, currently 3.7 percent.
