The Dallas Cowboys continued their early-season success Sunday, beating the New York Jets 30-10 at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys have outscored opponents 70-10 in their first two games this year, but they are also celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys had a parade of flags on the field, played Hispanic music during game breaks, and cultural dancers performed during the game.

"It is great to be able to acknowledge and celebrate Hispanic heritage, to see it really at the grassroots level," Executive Vice President Charlotte Jones said.

Jones was speaking on the football field at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. The Cowboys and Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation donated $1 million to rebuild the field after the 2019 tornado.

"To see how sports pull the community together, sometimes it does it in very unexpected ways," Jones said. "This is an example of that where you can really take a tragedy and turn it into an incredible community effort."

The NFL has launched a season-long campaign called, "Por La Cultura," which the league says will highlight Latino players, coaches, and staff and "celebrates Latino excellence and tells authentic stories of the community."

The NFL has released a video called, "The Celebration," which the league says shows how football can unify people from different backgrounds and "uplift youth."

"The 'Por La Cultura' campaign is about the vibrancy, commonalities and differences within our fan base. We are here to amplify the voices of the Latino community on and off the football field. Through an authentic brand campaign and partnerships with key players and personalities in the community, we want to inspire excitement, engagement and avidity all year round – por la cultura," NFL Cultural Marketing Strategist Javier Farfan, wrote in a statement.
