The Dallas Cowboys may be known as "America's Team," but their fan base stretches far beyond that. With fans all over the world, the Cowboys have become one of the most successful sports franchises in any league. Now, a new study has named Cowboys fans as the most devoted in the NFL, proving once again how much the team means to people.
Betting.com recently conducted a study to find which of the 32 NFL fan bases are the most devoted to their team. The study looked at a number of metrics to determine their rankings, such as; average capacity per home game, social media index, merchandise sales and more. Based on these factors, Dallas Cowboys fans were named the most devoted for the entire league.
According to CW33, Cowboys fans rank the highest in the number of shirt sales, have a high average capacity per home game and will travel to watch their team at away games. The only downside was that the team only has positive social media mentions 29% of the time. While the team hasn't won a Super Bowl since the '90s, at least Cowboys fans now have a win to brag about.
