The Dallas Cowboys officially began their 2025 training camp yesterday at the River Ridge Playing Fields in Oxnard, California, with players and coaches arriving Sunday evening, ahead of Monday’s first full practice.

With Brian Schottenheimer now at the helm as head coach, moods are upbeat - especially after key offseason moves like drafting offensive lineman Tyler Booker and acquiring star receiver George Pickens,

Jonesing to bounce back after last year’s 7–10 finish, the team set lofty goals from day one, led by comments from guard Tyler Smith and lineman Osa Odighizuwa who say, "Super Bowl Champions - that's always the expectation."

Eyes are on linebacker Micah Parsons, who wasn’t on the first flight out but is expected to join camp imminently amid ongoing contract talks.

Meanwhile, fans can now gear up for a full schedule of open practices - running July 22 to August 13 - with special events like Fan Night and Heroes Day peppered throughout.

Training camps in Oxnard have been a tradition since 2004, and the Cowboys recently extended their stay there through 2030 - citing ideal weather, fewer distractions, and a stable summer setup for the team.
