First Baptist Church executive pastor is hopeful they can preserve remaining structures after devastating fire
A lot of work's been done this week at First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas following that massive fire a week ago.
Services may return to the church's worship center this Sunday.
Executive Pastor Dr. Ben Lovvorn says there was quite a bit of smoke damage to other parts of the campus but workers have been busy cleaning up all week.
Dr Lovvorn is asking for prayers that they can salvage the three walls that remain standing from their 130-year-old sanctuary that burned.

Nobody was hurt in the fire, and the cause is still unclear.
