Dallas firefighters are working to put out a grass fire that broke out between two buildings.
Just before 4 p.m., they got the call about the fire in South Dallas near the Providence on the Park Apartments on Old Hickory Trail near I-20 and Wheatland Road. They put the fire at two alarms because the fire's so close to buildings but right now it's only a grass fire.
Members of the DeSoto and Duncanville fire departments are on the scene helping out.
