
Fair Park First, the organization responsible for revitalizing Fair Park, is enlisting an outside group to manage its donations following financial concerns earlier this year.
The move comes after a report revealed missing donor funds intended for specific projects. To restore trust, Fair Park First has tapped the Dallas Foundation, a nonprofit with a nearly century-long history of managing philanthropic assets, to oversee its current and future contributions.
The Dallas Foundation, established in the 1920s, manages more than $600 million in assets and works extensively with nonprofits to support community-focused initiatives.
