The Dallas Independent School District was chosen to take part in the state's COVID-19 Rapid Testing Pilot Program.
Gov. Greg Abbott created the testing program in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency and Texas Division of Emergency Management.
The Dallas ISD's Robyn Harris said Phase One of the district's testing will involve student-athletes, who will learn their results in about 15 minutes. She talked with KRLD's Chris Sommer.
