With high school games rampin' up, the Dallas School District is making some changes when it comes to safety.

The district will now require all students going to a district-hosted game to show a current badge if they are there without a parent, guardian, or other adult.

And that's not all, the badge has to be for the school competing in the game, and the same requirement also applies to visiting non-Dallas ISD schools. This does apply to students who are taking part in the game in one way or another as long as they are there with their coach or sponsor.

As for middle and elementary school students, an adult has to be with them if they go to any athletic event.
