Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police have reported that an arrest has been made following a fatal stabbing early on Saturday morning.
Police were called at approximately 12:06 a.m. to a shooting at 1826 McBroom Street where 56-year-old Wendell Earl Jeffrey was found having suffered stab wounds. He later died after being transported to a hospital.
The suspect, a 52-year-old man, was also transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to hospital having suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Upon his release he will be charged with murder and his bond will be set by a Dallas County Magistrate.
