Charges against a Dallas man have been upgraded to murder in the death of his 72-year-old father.
Police say Muhammad Ebrahim was initially charged with causing injury to an elderly person when his father was admitted to Texas Heath Presbyterian Dallas with a head injury.
But with the death of Aboobaker Ebrahim, the charge is now murder and the younger Ebrahim is being held without bond.
Ebrahim's mother tells police the father and son had quarreled and her husband struck his head after he was pushed.
