DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A Dallas man who is already under indictment for a near-fatal street racing accident now faces a murder charge.

The body of 27-year-old Corinna Johnson was found in a Dallas apartment in April. Now a Dallas County grand jury has indicted 34-year-old Omar Lucio for the death. Johnson's mother will tell you Lucio killed her daughter twice. She says that before the April murder he left her without a heartbeat after a street racing wreck.

"He flipped his truck racing and she was in the back seat asleep. He ran from the scene. He left her for dead and fled from the scene," said Linda Lopez, Johnson's mother.

She says her daughter actually had to be brought back to life that night, only to recover, move back in with Lucio only to be beaten to death and put in a closet in Lucio's southern Dallas apartment.

Lucio was previously indicted for six counts for the street race.
