Grand Prairie (1080 KRLD) - A Dallas man has drowned at Joe Pool Lake over the holiday weekend.
Alejandro Rea was pulled from the water near Lynn Creek Park yesterday. Grand Prairie Fire Department divers were called out around 4 p.m. on Independence Day. They found Rea near the Lynn Creek Marina boat ramp and rushed him to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. The E-R tried but Rea was pronounced dead about 5:15 p.m.
Investigators say Rea was not wearing a flotation device when they found him.
