Dallas police have a man in custody after a SWAT stand off at the DART maintenance facility on Jefferson Ave.
Around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday DART police noticied a suspicious person spraying what is believed to be lighter fluid on an employees' car.
DART police say they tried to talk with the man but he locked himself inside an employees car.
After the employee told police there was agun in his car, Dallas SWAT was called.
The suspect found the gun and SWAT tried to get him to surrender. He finally came out of the vehicle but would not drop the gun.
One officer fired at the suspect who was not hit but was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for an evaluation.
No officers were hurt.
