The city is not saying why but Dallas has canceled all Municipal Court trials, hearings and jury duty today.
All of the cases set for Thursday will have to be rescheduled. Also, no payments can be accepted either in person, by phone or online.
It's also permissible to mail in payments along with documents or information requests.
The city is not saying if today's closures are connected to the ransomware attack in May that closed down the Municipal Court and other vital city functions.
