(Dallas, TX) -- Police documents shed new light on the shooting death of a man in east Oak Cliff ten days ago.
The victim, identified as Absolom Cobb, was fatally shot at a home on Denley Drive, one block from the Dallas Veterans Hospital.
An arrest affidavit obtained by the Dallas Morning News shows police believe Cobb and the owner of the home, Damien Walker, quarreled when Walker accused his tenant of selling drugs out of the home.
In police questioning, Walker claimed he and Cobb struggled, and that's when he shot him.
The investigation remains ongoing.
