Dallas police have now identified the victim who was gunned down Sunday night in Oak Cliff.
Dallas Police say a woman identified as Martha Enriquez was found dead in a car that had crashed on Britton Avenue.
Police believe the suspected shooter opened fire on the victims at a home about a half-mile away from where she was found dead. During the first shooting, the man who was with Enriquez was hit.
In an effort to get away, she was able to get into a car and drive only a minute or two before crashing into a parked car about seven blocks away.
The killer had followed them and fatally shot Enriquez. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say the unidentified killer is still on the run.
