The Dallas Museum of Art is working to make art more accessible to everyone and will start FREE First Sundays on Jan. 7. Ticketed exhibits at the Dallas Museum of Art will be free the first Sunday of every month.

The museum said it's always been committed to providing access to art for all and thanked the Art Bridges Foundation for being able to expand its free general admission program.

Art lovers will continue to have free access to the museum's permanent collection and will soon have free access to ticketed exhibits as well, with no reservations are required.

The museum said the changes were needed as it works to build a sustainable future. The Access for All program will run through 2026.
