Fourteen years after graduating from Highland Park High School, Clayton Kershaw has won his first World Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
Kershaw has had a Hall-of-Fame-worthy career for 13 MLB seasons but has always struggled in the post-season. But this time around, he won four games for the Dodgers including a 2-and-0 record in the World Series with an ERA of 2.31.
Kershaw still makes his home in Highland Park but he has not been allowed to go home during the three weeks the Dodgers have been playing post-season games Globe Life Field. Because of MLB Coronavirus rules, he has been sequestered with his family in the Dodgers team hotel or at Globe Life.
