Dallas police have released body cam video showing the weekend shooting where an armed man was wounded by officers in South Dallas.
Police say the man now identified as Kris Green was shot in the leg as he ran up to a car stopped at a red light a few blocks from Fair Park.
Police found Green armed with a pistol as he was yelling in the middle of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard. When officers insisted he put the gun down, the video shows him raising the pistol toward the sky and firing a shot.

When he ran toward the stopped car, officers opened fire before he could assault the driver.
With Green down, officers quickly applied a tourniquet to slow the bleeding in his leg. He was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
