
Dallas police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a murder that occurred on Sunday, August 21.
Police reports say around 3:00AM early Sunday morning, officers were called to a shooting in the 2600 block of Elm Street.
Officers found one man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest and another man who had been shot in the leg.
Reports say one of the victims identified as 26-year-old Ricky Burns died at the scene. The other unidentified victim was treated at a local hospital.
Prior to the shooting, Burns and an unknown Latin male, between 20-30 years old, had started arguing when the suspect walked past Burns. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene.
