The Dallas Police Department announced Sunday that an officer on the squad was arrested by another North Texas law enforcement agency.

Dallas Police officials say Officer Austin Marshall was arrested just after midnight Sunday morning in Plano. He's been charged with Driving While Intoxicated, just less than a week after an officer was killed by a suspected drink driver.

According to DPD, Officer Marshall has been with the agency since 2018, and assigned to the South Central Division. They say he's on administrative leave, pending the results of an Internal Affairs investigation.
