Dallas police detectives are circulating an artist's sketch of a gunman who left a man to die in an apartment parking lot in the Arcadia Park neighborhood.
On Mother's Day evening, Eric Montez and his mother were near his car in the parking lot of an apartment complex on West Jefferson a few blocks east of Loop 12.
Police say an armed robber demanded money from Montez and when he said he didn't have any he shot him. Right in front of his mother.
She was able to give a pretty good description of the killer and a police artist has produced a sketch. Detectives are hoping someone who knows the killer will see the sketch and call in with a tip.
