The Dallas Police Department is looking for the man who shot and injured another man outside a motel on I-30 at Jim Miller Road on March 7th.
Investigators hope someone will recognize the suspect's vehicle from surveillance video recorded at the scene.
The video shows a confrontation between the two men in the parking lot of the motel. The suspect shot the victim with a handgun. That man fell down, then got up and ran to safety.
The shooter got into a silver Chevy Malibu and drove off. The victim was hospitalized and survived the attack.
Dallas Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Detective Jeffrey Coleman by calling 214-671-3636 or by sending an e-mail to jeffrey.coleman@dallaspolice.gov.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called into Crime Stoppers that leads to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense. The Crime Stoppers Hotline is 214-373-TIPS (8477).
