In recent years, people have been coming to DFW in droves thanks to a number of businesses moving to the metroplex. Now, there is yet another reason for workers to move to North Texas, and this time it has nothing to do with a company coming to town.
A recent study ranked Dallas as the best city in America for freelance workers, with some other cities in DFW falling into the top 20 as well.
Tool Tester recently conducted a study to find which cities in America were the most freelance worker-friendly. The study looked at aspects such as affordability, social scene, and access to remote to affordable working spaces to find the most favorable cities. Based on these factors, the study found Dallas to be the best city in America for freelance workers, according to CW33.
The study also placed Irving as the 14th best city and Fort Worth right behind at number 15. Helping Dallas take the top spot was the nearly 50 WeWork and Regus coworking spaces for freelance workers. Thanks to this study it seems more people may be moving to the metroplex.
