Dallas police have identified the suspected shooter in yesterday's early morning gunfire incident in uptown Dallas.
Security video shows a man standing in the middle of McKinney Avenue near Routh Street firing a pistol down the street. It's not clear why or who the intended target was.
But police say a man who was simply walking down the street, apparently not the target, was struck in the upper body.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Dallas police quickly chased down the man in the video who is now identified as Damion Williams who was booked into the Dallas County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and evading arrest.
